Glazed Bowls

Glazed Bowl

Thirty elegantly crafted glazed bowls featuring geometric and floral designs were among the finds at a Byzantine era villa uncovered in the year 2000 at Beth Shean. Also found — a tomb with a fresco depicting a beautiful red cross, along with the Greek letters chi and rho—shorthand for the name of Christ.
