Bomb Explodes on Jerusalem Bus Injuring 21, Most Riding Alongside

Tel Aviv ― A bomb exploded in the back of a bus and injured 21 people as it traveled through southeast Jerusalem on Monday, Israeli police said.

The attack comes amid one of the worst periods of violence in Israel in decades. PALESTINIANS HAVE CARRIED OUT MORE THAN 300 STABBINGS, SHOOTINGS AND CAR ATTACKS AGAINST ISRAELIS SINCE SEPTEMBER.

Some 30 Israeli civilians and soldiers have been killed by Palestinians, Israel’s Foreign Ministry says.

Destruction: Officials investigate following the blast, which injured more than 20 people, most of whom were on a bus traveling alongside.
