Israel Offers Peace
Mr. Moshe Sharett, then Prime Minister as well as Minister for Foreign Affairs, in an interview with a correspondent of ‘U.S. News and World Report,’ offered Jordan free port facilities at Haifa as part of a peace settlement with that country.
