The Report of the Director of UNRWA to the Seventh General Assembly gave the total of persons registered for relief in June as 875,998, viz. 465,450 in Jordan, 199,789 in the Gaza area (under Egyptian control), 106,753 in the Lebanon , 80,499 in Syria, 23,570 in Israel.
