Shaukat Shuqeir, Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Army in an address at military parade in Aleppo:

“The Syrians stand ready to enter a war of revenge and in defense of Arab honor.  It is your task to take revenge on Zionism for the blood of the Arab fallen.”
