November 27, 2000 – Acre Terror Attack

Sergeant-Major Halil Taher, 27, of Acre, was killed in an early morning blast in the Har Dov area of northern Israel while on patrol with his IDF unit. He left a pregnant wife and 1-year-old son. He was laid to rest on Monday, November 27, 2000, in the Moslem Cemetery in Acre.
