Mikveh Israel (מקוה ישראל; “Hope of Israel”) was the first Jewish agricultural school in the Palestine, established in 1870 by Charles Netter of the Alliance Israelite Universelle on land leased from the Turkish Sultan, southeast of Tel Aviv.
