β€œWe should assume that if Israel withdraws (from Sharm el Sheikh), Egypt will not prevent Israel shipping from using the Suez Canal or the Gulf of Aqaba. If unhappily hereafter Egypt violates the armistice agreement or other international obligation, then this should be dealt with firmly by the society of nations.”
