LMLK Seal, c. 700 BCE

 

LMLK seals were popular in and around Jerusalem during the reign of Hezekiah. LMLK is translated as [belonging] to the king. Original stamps have not been found but many impressions (stamps) have been discovered, some of them on the handles of large storage jars.
