Amman Parliament Vote to Unite Arab Palestine and Transjordan

“Amman, Jordan, April 24^th—The two houses of Jordan’s Parliament, sitting together today at the opening session, voted with some dissensions or abstentions the unification of Arab Palestine and Transjordan into the single Kingdom of Hasemite Jordan.  Conclusion of the unification was proclaimed in a speech from the throne.

Official notification was sent to the Arab states and other foreign nations after the unification measure had been signed during the afternoon in the royal palace in the presence of the assembled Senators and Deputies”
