April 12, 1947 Britain refer the Palestinian problem to the UN
Muslim Brotherhood’s reaction to Britain’s decision to refer the Palestinian problem to the United Nations:
“AS FROM TODAY WE DECLARE OUR CONDEMNATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS AS LONG S IT IS LED BY A BUNCH OF ELDERLY COLONIZERS. WE DECLARE THAT ARAB PALESTINE SHALL ACCEPT NOTHING SHORT OF COMPLETE INDEPENDENCE, AND WITH THE JEWS BEING CONSIDERED A WORTHLESS MINORITY AND A COMPLETE END TO IMMIGRATION.”
