Solomon ben Judah: Sukkot and Hosha ‘na rabba

On Hosha ‘na rabba, or the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles (i.e. Sukkot), Jews gathered on the Mount of Olives. Solomon ben Judah wrote “from the morrow after Hosha ‘na rabba or the eighth day of the Feast of Tabernacles”
