In Iraq wholesale dismissals took place of Jewish employees of the railways, the post office, the telegraph department and the Finance Ministry on the ground that they were suspected of “sabotage and treason.” (e.g. just like Nazi laws of 1933)

Also in Iraq it was decided not to issue new licenses to Jewish physicians or to renew the licenses of those then holding them.
