Their synagogues and cemeteries shall be returned to them upon payment to the purchasers of the price for which they were sold. This shall not apply where buildings of such size and character have been erected upon the property that they can’t reasonably be removed. Any synagogues or cemeteries that remain in our possession and haven’t been sold shall be returned to them.

If they’re unable to recover their synagogues or cemeteries for a legitimate reason, we shall arrange for adequate premises and suitable sites to be provided to them at a reasonable price.

The books of their law that remain in our possession and haven’t been sold shall also be returned to them, except for copies of the Talmud that have been condemned.
