March 30, 1949 Armistice Agreement between Israel and Transjordan

Transjordan and West Bank of PalestineThe Palestine Post reported that the signing of the armistice between Israel and Trans-Jordan would put an end to the Israeli friction and Great Britain. A final draft of the armistice agreement was ready for signing a month after the talks began. There were no spectacular results—the present front lines between Israel and Trans-Jordan were all confirmed. It was agreed that neither side would engage in hostile action against the other, and they would all settle their disputes by peaceful means
