“Jewish farmers stoned by Arab rioters – A group of Jews who were plowing land near Kfar Manara, in Galilee, were pelted with stones and clods of earth yesterday morning by some 200 men, women and children from the Arab village of Kukab.  Only the intervention of police from Shfaram, who fired into the air and had to use force against the assailants, put a stop to the riot and enabled the plowing to continue.”
