Judah ha-Levy, Dîwân des Abu-l-Hasân Jehuda ha-Levi, ed. H. Brody (Westmead, England, 1971), 3: 5
In His tent He set His Presence,
and placed the visions for the prophets,
to look upon His image;
there is no form and no plan,
no limit to His understanding,
but only the visions [as they appear] in the eyes of the prophets,
like an exalted and elevated king.
