December 14, 1950 Israel Offers Peace
The Foreign Minister of Israel (e.g. Moshe Sharett) told the United Nations General Assembly:
“I should like to take this opportunity to reiterate the continued readiness of my Government to enter into direct negotiations with each of the states with which we have armistice agreements …”
