Two inscriptions from Samaritan Synagogues were found in 1979-80 on the Aegean island of Delos- 1. 250-175 BCE “Israelites (on Delos) who make offerings to hallowed Argarizum” (Greek for Mt. Gerizim) 2. 150-50 BCE Honors Sercipion who makes donations to the community.
