BEIRUT, Lebanon, March 19 (AP)-A reliable source said a large shipment of Czechoslovak arms arrived today for the Palestine Arab army.

The shipment of rifles and machine guns came to the small port of Djouneh near here in a large schooner which sailed from Genoa, the informant said.

The movement of the ship and the unloading were guarded closely. The informant said the government is “taking steps to keep it secret.”

Leaders here met with the military committee directing the Palestine volunteer army. Persons close to the committee suggested it is “putting final touches on a plan for an all-out war against the Jews in Palestine.”
