LONDON, July 27 (UP)-The Foreign Office today announced that the government had decided to pay the recently suspended $8,000,000 a year subsidy to Trans-Jordan.

The quarterly payment of $2,000,000 was held up July 12 pending clarification of the Palestine situation. The announcement said payment now would be made.

The payment was held up at a time when the Palestine fighting was in the balance, with Britain and the United States seeking means of halting it. A truce finally was agreed upon after they had brought pressure to bear on the Arab States.
