AMMAN, Trans-Jordan, May 24 (AP).-The Arab League political committee will convene tomorrow to discuss the situation created by the United Nations request for a cease fire in all Palestine.

Abdel Rahman Azzam Pasha, secretary general of the league, announced the meeting tonight. He said all seven Arab states, currently at war with the Jews in Palestine, would be represented at the meeting here. Neutral observers concluded from Azzam Pasha’s statement that no Arab cease fire would be ordered before the political committee meets.

He would not comment on the possible Arab decision.

Responsible Arab quarters indicated the league was acutely aware of the public demand in Arab countries for a final decision in Palestine.

A cease fire would leave the Palestinian Arabs’ most important port, Jaffa, in Jewish hands and at least temporarily nullify Arab military successes in Jerusalem, they said.
