JERUSALEM, Jan. 11 (AP)-A United States correspondent in the all-Arab city of Nablus said Arab leaders there expected that Arab guerrillas now training in the Samarian “hills of fire” could be ready for action against the Jews within a month.

The Arabs said 20,000 Arab youths from the rugged country inside the triangle of Nablus. Jenin and Tulkarm could be called to arms to fight under Fawzi elKawukji or any other Arab military figure. The Arab leaders said that Palestine revolt of 1936-39, was expected to arrive in Nablus from Syria within a month.

A tour of the district disclosed thousands of armed Arabs, some with flowing tunics Weighted by bandoleers of rifle and machinegun ammunition.
