November 1950 Arab Refugees

Arab Refugees“The Arab governments do not want to admit to losing the Palestine War; they think there is still a chance that Israel will pine and die; they want to keep UNRWA in being and in their service because United Nations’ support for the Arab refugees provides them with satisfying proof that the West admits guilt over the Palestine settlement.  To let matters be affords them many psychological advantages and littler material inconvenience.”
