President Nasser of Egypt (in Al Akhbar, Cairo):

“The Palestine Army (Fedayeen), which started as a small force of 1,000 men last year, is today great in number, training and equipment.  I believe in the strength, ability, loyalty and courage of this army.  Its soldiers will be responsible for taking revenge for their homeland and people.”
