King Hussein in Jerusalem:

“I promise that until our country is returned to us we will remain prepared and shall not lay down our arms…whatever the price to be paid and whatever the obstacles, until we achieve victory and unfurl our flag over our free motherland.  We are duty bound to gather strength from disaster and unite ourselves for the day we leap.”
