1948 Arab League’s Palestine Committee“The Associated Press reports that King Farouk, of Egypt, agrees with Trans-Jordan when they say that the:

ARAB NATIONS WILL NEVER ACCEPT A JEWISH STATE IN PALESTINE.”

The Arab League’s political committee announces from Beirut, Lebanon, that Arab forces are:

“…ready to resume the struggle when necessary until their objectives are reached,” and that the Arabs view the “cease-fire as a gap in an honorable Jihad (holy war) which can only terminate in [Arab] victory.”
