Suleiman Abdul Bey, the Mayor of Nablus,

“The Arabs are prepared to sacrifice 1,000,000 men in the fight against the “Zionists,” which will start “the minute the British leave.”   He adds that “We 70,000,000 Arabs are united and determined to crush Zionism…before Zionism crushes us.”
