January 26, 1952 Israel Offers Peace

Israel’s representative reiterated to the General Assembly of the United Nations:

“Israel’s willingness to seek an agreement on outstanding questions with each of the contiguous Arab states … either by direct formal negotiations, or by developing the work of the U.N. Mixed Armistice Commission, or by recourse to the machinery which the U.N. is holding available.”
