JOHANNESBURG, Union of South Africa, May 30 (AP)-The Sunday Express of Johannesburg said in an editorial today that Dr. D. F. Malan’s new Nationalist government may break off diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union.

The Express predicted the Malan government would stop Jewish immigration and impose restrictions on Jews in the Union. It also predicted that immigration from Britain would be curtailed and “selective immigration from Germany and other Nordie countries encouraged.”
