Stern GangJERUSALEM, Feb. 29 (AP)—Eight Jews believed to be members of the Stern band robbed the Jerusalem Municipality Office of £800 ($3,200).

The police also reported that twenty armed Jews entered a Jerusalem Public Works Department office during the day, occupied it for five hours and carted off five motorcycles and a quantity of electrical equipment.
The Jerusalem police reported that they had foiled a jail break plot in the city’s Central Prison by arresting two Jews who had disguised themselves as guards and tried to release a large number of Jewish prisoners.
