TEL AVIV, Aug. 22 (AP)-The Israeli government made a new bid today for peace talks with the Arabs.

An Israeli Foreign Office spokesman said Israeli is prepared to undertake “separate peace talks with each of the Arab countries.”

A previous Israeli bid for peace talks, transmitted through the United Nations mediator, Count Folke Bernadotte, was turned down by the Egyptian government. A source close to the Arab League said the league had also rejected the invitation.

King Abdullah of Trans-Jordan declared at that time however, that possibilities of peace between the Jews and Arabs should be considered.
