The Arab Higher Committee of PalestineCATRO, Egypt, March 22 (AP) An Arab League statement declared today the League’s intention to continue the struggle in Palestine until what it called democratic principles prevailed.

The statement, prepared by Azzam Pasha, said the struggle would continue “east and west” of the Arab sphere. He did not specify the exact area. The League has been advocating independence for northwestern African countries under French and Spanish rule and for the former Italian colony of Libya.
