British Guards, Haifa AirportHAIFA, Palestine, April 27 (AP). Jewish refugees showed fight but finally were overwhelmed and deported to Cyprus today after their 500-ton trawler was intercepted by the British Navy.

The ship. Kastle Nakhshon, a former French craft with 558 immigrants aboard, was boarded by the British last night, but the first two sailors were thrown overboard and slightly injured. The second boarding attempt succeeded.

Deportation on the transports Empire Comfort and Empire Rest took longer than usual, however, because the refugees again resisted.
