General Ali Abu Nuwar, Commander-in-Chief of the Jordan Arab Legion in Falastin (Jordan daily):

“For the sake of our Arab nation, for the sake of Arab glory – which will not be complete except by the return of the stolen part of our land – we have visited a number of Arab states to co-ordinate military plans.  Thus I visited Damascus, Cairo and Beirut, and will continue to visit other Arab states so that we can stand against Israel – the enemy of the Arabs – as one united Arab army.”
